Senior Marketing Executive / Marketing Executive - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia


Position Summary

The Marketing Executive will take responsibility for a program of marketing activities designed to increase market penetration and open up new channels and markets for our extensive portfolio of products. This is a ‘hands on’ role with responsibility for driving the marketing function of the business.


Functional Role

  • Working with cross functional departments to develop / improve and implement engaging marketing collaterals.
  • Monitor and analyze competitors, maintaining up-to-date market intelligence, manage and develop end to end marketing strategies to attract new customers and customer retention.
  • Manage customer database and develop and implement regular direct marketing activities.
  • Take responsibility and tracking for all marketing collaterals including product brochures and technical literature, product presentations, product training guides, product datasheets etc.
  • Responsible for development and maintenance of digital marketing channels to increase website traffic.
  • Assist in the execution of daily marketing activities and operations support.
  • Organize events such as seminars, trade events, training workshops etc.
  • Uploading marketing material and product datasheets to online databases.
  • Develop company presentations template and implement version control to ensure only approved information is used by sales and technical teams.
  • Work with the Sales to maintain up-to-date library of project references. Develop of case studies for sales and marketing purposes.
  • Responsible for managing periodic budgets and reporting requirements relevant to Marketing, aligning with Finance and Sales divisions for organization-wide reporting templates.
  • Quality Management System: Coordinate and assist Quality Management department on implementation of ISO procedures and internal / external audit process.
  • Complete any additional duties as requested by the Head of Marketing or Management.


Skills and Attributes Required:


Academic Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Mass Communication or related field.

Professional Experience

  • At least 3-5 years of related marketing communication experience with added advantage from Construction Industry

Skills, Knowledge & Competencies:

  • Knowledge of strategic marketing
  • Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Google AdWords, Web content management system
  • Good communication and problem solving skills
